Fresh Green Smoothie


This Fresh Green Smoothie has the perfect name - it's super fresh and light with a dash of mint and a touch of sweetness. Its not as thick as a typical smoothie, it's almost more like a juice - I love it for breakfast with an apple and almond butter or with a Super Berry Seed Breakfast Cookie.

It's also great as a light and energizing afternoon snack.



makes 1 

  • 3/4 cup water
  • 1/2 cup chopped cucumber (about a 2-3 inch piece)
  • 1 cup packed baby spinach or kale
  • 7 - 10 fresh mint leaves
  • 1 Tbsp hemp seeds
  • 1 cup frozen pineapple

Tips & Nutrition

This smoothie is more like a juice when blended. If you would prefer it more creamy, add 1/2 an avocado or frozen banana. 

You can up the protein by adding a scoop of plant based protein powder or an extra tablespoon of hemp, flax or pumpkin seeds.


Blend everything together in the order they're listed in a high speed blender until well combined.
