Blending greens into a smoothie releases even more essential nutrients that we don't always get when eating them whole.
This Fresh Green Smoothie has the perfect name - it is super fresh and light with a dash of mint and a touch of sweetness. It is not as thick as a typical smoothie and is almost more of a juice - I like to have it for breakfast with a side of apple and almond butter or take it to go with a Super Seed & Nut Square.
It also makes a perfect, light and energizing afternoon snack!

This smoothie is more like a juice when blended. If you would prefer it a bit more creamy you can add 1/2 an avocado or frozen banana.
You can amp up the protein by putting in a scoop of vanilla protein powder or adding an extra tablespoon of hemp or pumpkin seeds.
Blend everything together in the order they are listed in a high speed blender until well combined.
