I've been working on 'Nutrition for Your Skin' presentation for a guest speaking event I'm doing this weekend. As I was creating it, I was going over the foods that have the most important nutrients for your skin and I was inspired to make a simple smoothie that would include all these amazing skin healing ingredients.
This smoothie has exactly what you need for healthy, clear, gorgeous skin - dark leafy greens, healthy fats, antioxidants, vitamin C and water for hydration. It’s simple to make and is a great breakfast or afternoon snack.

I love this smoothie in the morning as the healthy fats, greens and plant based proteins are energizing!
You can switch up your greens to include chard or bok choy - different ones have different nutrients (all which are amazing for your skin).
Feel free to add your favourite plant based protein if you like or enjoy it with a handful of walnuts for extra skin healing!
Blend all ingredients in the order they are listed in a high speed blender until smooth & creamy. Enjoy!
