Watermelon Strawberry Lemonade


Watermelon is a classic summer food! 

It delicious as is, added to a salad or blended into a 'slushy' kind of drink like this recipe. 

Aside from being crazy delicious, watermelon has plenty of healthy benefits - it's high in disease fighting lycopene, full of vitamin C for glowing skin and supporting your immune system, and it's exceptionally hydrating, perfect for hot, sunny, summer days...



serves 4

  • 4 cups watermelon, seedless (cubed or chopped)
  • 1 cup strawberries (fresh or frozen)
  • 1/4 cup pure lemon juice
  • 1 Tbsp maple syrup
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/2 cup ice cubes
  • mint leaves (optional, for garnish)

Tips & Nutrition

If you're using fresh strawberries, you might want to add ice to the blender to make it nice and frosty. 

Watermelon and strawberries are so sweet that not much additional sweetner is needed for this delicious, refreshing drink!


Combine the watermelon, strawberries, lemon juice, maple syrup, and water in a blender. Blend until smooth. Divide between glasses and add ice and/or mint to garnish.
