Blood Orange Vinaigrette

The fresh blood orange juice is the star of this simple vinaigrette that's delicious on any of  your favourite salads.



  • juice from 1 medium size blood orange
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 3 Tbsp olive oil
  • 1 Tbsp maple syrup
  • fresh ground sea salt to taste

Tips & Nutrition

Making your own salad dressing is one of the healthiest things you can do. Store bought dressings often use preservatives, cheap oils and added sugars.

I love this dressing on a simple kale salad with blueberries, hemp seeds and walnuts.


In a medium size bowl, whisk together all the ingredients.

Keeps well in a sealed container in the fridge for up to 4 days - just give it a good shake or stir before adding it to your salad.
