Easy Overnight Oats


Mornings are busy! 

Spending 20 minutes making healthy oatmeal probably doesn't fit in your schedule!

And packages of instant oats are usually over processed and full of sugar...

The solution?

Easy Overnight Oats! 

These oats are quick and simple to make - you put all the ingredients in a mason jar (or any type of airtight container) the night before and in the morning you have a delicious, healthy breakfast that you can take anywhere or eat quickly at home.

If you want them warm, simply stir in some boiling water in the morning. No mess, no cooking and no need to wake up earlier than you already do!



  • 1 Mason jar (any airtight container will work)
  • ½  cup oats (rolled or steel cut)
  • ⅔  cup unsweetened plant based milk of your choice
  • 1 Tbsp hemp seeds
  • 1 tsp pure maple syrup
  • ½ tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tsp. vanilla extract
  • ¼ cup chopped fruit (I like to use bananas or blueberries)
  • Handful of walnut halves (optional)

Tips & Nutrition

The oats, walnuts and hemp seeds are full of protein and iron that provide long lasting energy and keep you full. Oats are a whole grain -  meaning they release long term energy without a crash so your energy level is maintained and you aren’t looking for a snack 30 minutes after eating.

This is the perfect busy morning breakfast for everyone in the house. Try experimenting with other fruit/nut/seed additions and combinations to see what you like best!

Place all of the ingredients into your mason jar or container except the walnuts and mix with a spoon until combined. Place lid on container and put in the refrigerator overnight. Mix well in the morning, sprinkle with walnuts and enjoy!
